Does anyone know any good books for my 10 year old to read that would help him work through his behaviour issues. We seem unable to address his currently attitude and poor behaviour right now and no amount of rational (or irrational !!) discussion with him seems to make any difference. He is a great kid, and we love him dearly, but need to find some resources that can help him work thru some of the issues in his own head.. (while mum and dad work on finding better ways to help him as well ..!!)

Hi there

There are lots of books you can get hold of in the library that may help you. Not sure if you know but Barnardos can also help you. They offer free family support for families who are under stress and want to learn new ways of dealing with parenting issues, family relationships etc. They also have a parent helpline that offers free telephone conuncilling for parents who are worried about their childs behaviour. Ther number is 0800 4 PARENT. Hope this helps.
