Hello! My husband and I are moving to Christchurch New Zealand from the United States. We will be bringing along our beautiful baby boy. Hiro is currently 5 months old. I was wondering if there were any parenting groups or mommy groups where we could meet other families. When we move to New Zealand we won't know anyone so it would be nice for me to meet other mommies.

There are always parenting/mummy groups but it would really depend where in New Zealand you were moving to as to more specific information.

In fact I just read you were moving to Christchurch - my kids are primary school aged but I still have that fuzzy mummy brain!!!!! if you decide on suburb let me know and I'll see if I can find what groups there are around for you.
